• Dueling Works: Between this and Colin McRae Rally, specially the DiRT spin-off. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, Both Colin McRae Rally and DiRT being the more mainstream of the two whilst far less moddable while the former's more of a "Simcade"; Richard Burns however has a dedicated fanbase who would swear by its realistic physics model amongst other things even if the latter shows its age.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Owing to the creator's death, the game went out of circulation shortly afterwards specially due to the licensing. It's either you'd buy a used copy off Ebay, or just pirate it because practically no one would mind downloading a game from a developer that went out of business anyway.
  • The reality here is it's a little complicated, as with most abandonware (e.g. certain The Learning Company games). SCi merged with Eidos in 2005, which in turn was absorbed by Square Enix in 2009, taking most if not all of Eidos' intellectual properties. Square doesn't appear to be interested in reviving or re-releasing the game so far, leaving it in legal limbo.
