• Directed by Cast Member: In the English version of Rhapsody, Keith Arem was the voice director as well as the voice of some minor characters.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes:
  • Though Rhapsody is available on Steam and the Nintendo Switch (as part of the Compilation Re-release with La Pucelle Ragnarok) as of 2022, the PS1 and DS releases of the original game are out of print.
  • The Marl Kingdom sequels are also out or print. As such, they're frequently sold at exorbitant prices, locking out players who started with the new generation of games unless they use emulators or have a friend willing to loan them a copy. This would change with the release of the Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles collection.
• Late Export for You: While the Marl Kingdom sequels were left in Japan for the longest time, they would later end up finally being localized as part of the Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles collection in 2023 for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
• Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: The collector's edition of Marl Kingdom Chronicles includes a hardcover art book, two soundtrack collections (one for Ballad of the Little Princess and one Memories of Marl Kingdom), art cards, two acrylic displays and a cloth poster.
• Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": Miabelle from Hymn Princess of Antiphona, a spiritual successor to the Marl Kingdom series, was introduced as a bonus character in the PC port of Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories^note While she was made available in the PSP port via DLC in Japan, issues with bringing over the DLC in North America lead to her being cut. , but there's no plans to release her game.
• No Dub for You: While dialogue in Marl Kingdom Chronicles are dubbed, the songs remain in Japanese.
• No Export for You:
  • The original PlayStation version was released in Japan and North America, but Europe and Australia had to wait until the DS version's release in 2008.
  • While the second and third titles in the series would eventually end up being officially localized as part of the Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles collection, Antiphona no Seikahime still has yet to be released outside of Japan.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Yoshino Takamori takes over the role of Etoile Rosenqueen for Rhapsody III because of Yuri Amano's brief sabbatical.
  • In the two decades between Rhapsody and Marl Kingdom Chronicles, several characters have been recast for the English localizations. For example, Cornet is played by Kira Buckland rather than Sara Thomas.
• Studio Hop: The game was originally released by Atlus in North America in 2000. NIS America released the DS version eight years later.
• You Sound Familiar:
  • Maria Kawamura voiced Cherie/Kururu in the first game and would later go on to voice Cornet's daughter, also named Kururu, in the second one. Notably, This is a major plot point, and in the third game, she voices all three at various points.
  • Ai Orikasa voiced Cello in the second game and would later go on to voice Marius in the third game.
