• Dolled-Up Installment: Both the first and second entry of the series had slightly-modified versions to promote the Zip Zaps brand of RC cars.
  • The first game got rebranded as a 2 Fast 2 Furious advergame, complete with cars based on those from the movie (albeit with a cable sticking out to remind players that you're actually controlling RC cars).
  • The second game got rebranded as a Initial D advergame, but unlike Redline Rumble 2 in which you only drive in one car, this one lets you choose one of four different cars.
• What Could Have Been: Originally, Redline Rumble 2 was supposed to be a full game, since the version that was playable on Shockwave.com (and still is using BlueMaxima's Flashpoint) mentions that Alaska is only episode 1 both during the intro and after you've completed the third and final race.
