- Chart Displacement: "Psycho" was a #1 on the Alternative charts, while "She Hates Me" got stuck at #2 (though it topped the Mainstream chart along with "Blurry", and both are the band's sole Top 40 hits).
- Follow the Leader: The group were heavily influenced by Alice in Chains and Nirvana to the point where despite forming in 1991, they were seen as too similar to reach massive popularity until both bands were inactive, and a new generation was discovering grunge. Several tracks on "Life In Display" are done in exactly the same acoustic style of Alice in Chains' Jar Of Flies EP.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Their independent first two albums Stuck and Abrasive were limited runs, and have never been reissued, despite Scantlin saying he wants to many times over the years. Similarly, a number of leaked 90s demo tracks are unlikely to be officially released.
