  • Dueling Shows: This series shared the same time slot as Garfield and Friends did on CBS. Garfield won this duel, as it lasted seven seasons, whereas ProStars only lasted one. Not helping ProStars' case was that it aired on the lowest-rated Saturday Morning cartoon block at the time, which NBC abandoned in September of 1992 thanks to the combined failures of this series, Space Cats, Wish Kid and Yo Yogi!. (And as the final nail in the coffin, one post-opening sequence line from Garfield following it was "Don't bother checking NBC, kids. They're not running cartoons anymore.")
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: A couple episodes were released on VHS tapes and a DVD with three episodes came out in 2007, but the chances of anything else are looking slim. If you want the remaining episodes you'll have to go through unofficial means
  • The Merch: They even had a breakfast cereal.
  • No Export for You: Like other American cartoons of this ilk screened on the UK's Channel Four (though not New Kids on the Block), the live-action segments were cut.
  • The Other Darrin: Everyone was recast for the final episode, to exacerbate things, it was also a Clip Show. It remains unknown who these replacement actors were.
  • What Could Have Been: Originally, Dr. Ruth Westheimer was to be in the equivalent role for Mom. However, the producers and/or NBC got cold feet about having a sex therapist being on a Saturday-Morning Cartoon.
