• The Cast Show Off: Rachael Messer can speak Japanese and uses it in the fifth episode as Chise Todo.
• Fake Brit: Most of the English dub's cast are Americans putting on fake, yet very convincing, British accents. Some have had prior experiences with British accents (and some, like Beatrice's English voice Shanae'a Moore, have lived in the region before).
• The Other Darrin: Ayaka Imamura's inexplicably sudden and surprising departure from the voice acting industry due to health concerns in July 2018 resulted in Aoi Koga taking over the role of Ange for the film series.
• What Could Have Been: Though always pitched as a show about spies, one early idea that was floated during scripting was a story about teenagers who took over Japan.
