• California Doubling:
  • The scenes that take place in Las Vegas were actually shot in Provo, with the exception of some establishing shots and Charlie running through the streets.
  • The film's ending was also shot in Provo, though it's set in Cheshire, England.
• Defictionalization: The Pink Bible is included as bonus material on the DVD.
• Development Gag: The radio in Lydia's car is on the station "The Juice", which is an abbreviated title for the film used in production (from Pride and Prejudice).
• Edited for Syndication: The DVD removes a few references to the LDS Church, including the film's original subtitle.
  • A secret set of commands within the DVD menu lets you "unlock" the original version. Specifically, from the second page of scene selections highlight "Main Menu" and press down three times until the character's ring is highlighted. Select it and an information screen will appear.
• Pop-Up Trivia: The DVD has an option to display trivia about how the movie references Jane Austen's works.
