- Approval of God: The comic was tweeted about by freaking Bethesda. TWICE.
- Defictionalization: Some items such as Quill-Weave's argonian playing cards◊ or a tapestry adaption of the Unity mural◊ were available via the Prequel Indiegogo funding.
- Some other comic wear, like a hoodie adaption of Katia's Cloak of the Grey Tomorrow ensemble or the wizard hood and amulet of silence Katia wore on her trip to Kvatch come and go through the Prequel merch store as limited-time offers.
- Promoted Fanboy: A fan who reads Prequel known as Mikhail commented that they kept accidentally eating poison apples (ctrl + click) instead of placing them down (shift + click). These antics ended up getting a short side story to themselves, in which he lives for all of three panels before dying to his own poisoned apple.
- Schedule Slip: Kazerad's hectic life schedule and propensity for procrastination and experimentation means that these occur frequently. The most notable came when a shockingly-successful merchandise campaign on Indiegogo overwhelmed him with orders; this combined with the most ambitious flash update to that point left the comic stagnant from October 2015 to September 2017. A second extreme hiatus took place between December 2020 and July 2022, again due to an unexpectedly complicated merch drive, and a third from October 2022 that remains ongoing as of January 2024.
- Trolling Creator: Kazerad initially wanted to post a proper comic update on April 1st, 2017 to break the then year-and-a-half long hiatus, and intentionally cause confusion in the fanbase due to the normal connotations of things "happening" on April 1st. This unfortunately ended up not happening, due to more delays on Kazerad's part.
