• Surprisingly Lenient Censor: Given how prudish The Hays Code was when it came to anything sex-related, it's incredible that the gag where the rabbit shows Porky a picture of his "family" (he, his wife and hundreds of kids) made it through. Presumably the Truth in Television element about rabbit reproduction and his only having one partner made it more acceptable.
• Word of God: Friz Freleng and Bob Givens, two of the original Looney Tunes guys, had both stated that the rabbit in this cartoon is not Bugs Bunny, and referred to him as "Daffy Duck in a rabbit suit" instead.
