The Other Darrin: Mewtwo's VA is changed from Philip Bartlett to Dan Green in the dub. An urban legend about Bartlett dying persisted for a long time, but he clarified himself that he just wasn't interested in returning, and another actor with the same real name as his stage name had passed away shortly before this movie came out.
In the Finnish Dub, Mewtwo's original VA Jussi Lampi is replaced by Pasi Ruohonen, who also plays the Narrator among other characters in the series.
