- Emerging Force: Kayak through the Inga Rapids on the River Congo.
- Birth of Sky: Climb Mt. Everest and then BASE jump off of the summit.
- Awakening Earth: Skydive from a plane into the Cave of Swallows in Mexico.
- Life of Water: Surf atop a 60-foot wave.
- Life of Air: Fly a wingsuit through the mountain pass known as "The Crack" in Walenstadt, Switzerland.
- Life of Ice: Find a snowboarding line no one has ever ridden and snowboard down it.
- Master of Six Lives: Climb a cliff face with no safety gear (the film uses Angel Falls in Venezuela).
- Act of Ultimate Trust: Jump off of the cliff face you just climbed and survive (the film's characters only survive because they land in the river below).
