Trivia / Pixie, Dixie and Mr. Jinks

• Recycled Script: The episode "Strong Mouse" repeats many beats (pun absolutely intended) of the Tom and Jerry short Jerry's Cousin, also directed by Hanna and Barbera. The mouse protagonists are visited by their incredibly strong but otherwise identical cousin, who beats up the main antagonistic cat as well as a group of feline thugs.

  • The Ren & Stimpy Show: The first episode has Stimpy in a Yogi Bear skit, forgetting his line, he utters many other famous cartoon catchphrases including "I hate those those meeces to pieces".
  • Beast Wars: Cheetor says Mr. Jinks' famous line to Rattrap.
• Refitted for Sequel: Sort of. The episode "Little Bird-Mouse" was allegedly derived from a Tom and Jerry short left unfinished after Hanna-Barbara were discarded from MGM.
