• Blooper: After so many episodes, writer Aliki Theofilopoulos' name is misspelled in the opening credits. But as one person on Twitter wrote, "At least it was misspelled in a cool Saul Bass font".
• The Cast Showoff: Ariel Winter gets to show off her vocal prowess as Gretchen in the song "Jump Right to It". Michaela Zee as Ginger also gets to sing, but to a less successful degree.
• Swan Song: This is George A. Romero's final credit before his death.
• What Could Have Been:
  • In Aliki Theofilopoulos's original storyboard, after Isabella's confession, Phineas would have kissed Isabella, but it was decided it was a bit much, so it was scrapped.
  • As revealed on the Last Day of Summer soundtrack, there were more lyrics written for "Army of Me".
