Trivia / Phineas and Ferb: Act Your Age

• Ascended Fanon: "Phinabella", the shipping name of Phineas and Isabella among the fandom, is utilized in the song "What Might Have Been".
• The Other Darrin: Of the teenage Fireside Girls, only Ariel Winter & Madison Pettis voice their respective characters (Gretchen & Adyson) as teens, probably due to the others being actually voiced by children. As such, Dana Davis replaces Diamond White as Holly, Soliel McGhee replaces Isabella Acres as Katie, Dannah Phirman replaces Isabella Murad as Millie and Ming-Na Wen replaces Michaela Zee (see below for Real-Life Relative) as Ginger.
• Promoted Fangirl: The designs for the older versions of Phineas and the gang were done by Canadian artist Ashley Michelle Simpson (aka "KicksterAsh" on DeviantArt). Dan Povenmire saw some of Simpson's fan art of the aged-up gang and decided to get in touch with her to have her do some designs for the characters. They pretty much look the same as her fan art, with the exception of Buford, who was given longer hair because of his pretentious film school look.
• Real-Life Relative: The voice of the teenage Ginger is Ming-Na Wen, whose daughter, Michaela Zee, voices the younger one.
• Short Run in Peru: Since Disney had a tendency to delay the airing of an episode, the creators actually attempted to avert this by pleading with the international broadcasters to hold off on airing the episode until after it had premiered in the US. For a while, it seemed that the message had gotten through. Then New Zealand and Ukraine aired the episode anyway, thus giving fans the opportunity to post spoilers online, and thus ruining any surprises the creators had intended on making.
