- Acclaimed Flop: The original game was well-received by critics and fans for its unique gameplay, but sold very poorly. However, some key figures within Microsoft considered the game to be ahead of its time and pushed to see it come back in some form for many years. The Updated Re-release has seen over one million purchases following the first month of release, although it was also released for free.
- Development Hell: The Updated Re-release. A remake was announced back at E3 2014 set to be developed by Darkside Studios, but due to budget concerns and differences with Microsoft, the remake was cancelled in February 2015, causing Darkside to shut down. The project was placed on hold until it was announced at E3 2016 that the game would instead be a port of the original title, and had been developed in secret using internal funds.
- No Port For You: The PC version of the remaster is only available on the Microsoft Store, which is exclusive to Windows, leaving Linux and Mac users which could play the game using compatibility layers like Wine out of luck. Also if you wanna play it on your Steam Deck, you're gonna have to create a Windows partition, which can be quite cumbersome.
