- Dawson Casting: Slightly averted. Many of the kids were voiced by actual kids, albeit ones a few years older than the characters. Peter's voice was done by a 16-year-old Jason Marsden. 5-year-old Michael was clearly voiced by a little kid.
- International Coproduction: Between Fox Children's Productions, TMS Entertainment and Australian-based Southern Star Productions (the then ex-sub entity of Hanna-Barbera), with further animation work outsourced to studios in Canada, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, and Ukraine.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes:
- Doubly so, and both due to Walt Disney Studios, and it's potential to compete against Disney's own Peter Pan version...
- First, the show was purchased when Disney bought Saban, with Disney having no faith in the show.
- Even if 20th Century Fox did buy the show back, Disney bought Fox, ensuring the show was buried.
- None of this helped in the slightest by Southern Star going defunct a short while later, and TMS preferring to focus on their anime titles.
