• Schedule Slip: Although the comic would miss a week here and there for the first few years, PitW didn't start dropping updates on a regular basis until 2013 when they only managed 37 pages (the lowest production since their first year). The number of updates have dropped every year since, with only 12 story pages posted in the first 11 months of 2016. The only thing keeping this thing from achieving Dead Fic status is the occasional backstory post made by Kris detailing events that took place 20 years before the plot of the comic began. Still, only five such chapters have been posted, meaning that the site has been quiet for more than 2/3 of the year. As of December 2016, the pair are splitting as Rodriguez's other commitments have led to various slips. He will still help with cover work or other special pages, but the main pages will no longer be his responsibility. As of December 2017, a new artist has been hired, and updates have not increased, there have been only eight updates over the past year.
