  • Originally, Trixie was supposed to get Violet the fox instead of Sally the skunk as her pet but as the author wrote the chapter, they realized Trixie getting Sally made the most sense because they had history and Sally was the one who seemed to care about her the most, and Stage Hoof had more in common with Violet due to his past.
