• Based on a Dream: The idea supposedly came to Jeffes in a dream while he was ill with food poisoning.
• Died During Production: The PCO officially ended with Simon Jeffes' death from a brain tumor in 1997. Jeffes had been working on a new album at the time; his piano demos were issued as a solo album, Piano Music.
• He Also Did: Simon Jeffes did quite a lot of arranging and session work in the 1970s, but the one job that's always mentioned is that he arranged the strings for the Fake-Out Opening of Sid Vicious' cover of "My Way".
