  • Colbert Bump: Padak received a modest boost in interest when Steve Reviews featured a summary about the film and his opinion on it. Saberspark also reviewed this film.
  • Missing Trailer Scene: There were scenes were Padak is in the ocean with a school of Mackerel which were part of the cut opening song depicting her being captured, the scenes haven't been officially released yet but they can be seen with commentaries from DH Lee, the director, on his channel.
  • No Dub for You: The film is only available in Korean with subtitles.
  • What Could Have Been: Many scenes were cut from the final product, they can be found (alongside interviews) in the creator's channel:
    • The most notable is the original opening, which was going to be a massive and cute song sang by the sea life that was meant to introduce Padak (Who was the lead singer of it), showcasing her original school and how she was caught. The scene itself was meant to be a large Mood Whiplash, as it would end abruptly with Padak being caught. In fact, the end credits song would've been a Dark Reprise of the opening song. It was ultimately cut off as both Lee and his editor felt it was out of place in the film and removed the tension of the opening, though it was finished and the song itself can be found in the official soundtrack.
    • Another cut song was a personal one from the Master, who would've sang one while on the chopping block, like the opening song it was cut for being unfitting in the narrative, despite being almost finished, the song can be seen on the channel and is available in the movie's official soundtrack.
    • After the Master escaped into the sea, there was supposed to be an additional scene (Where it was placed is unknown) depicting Anago, Jooldom, Snapper and Sea Bass establishing a new cult, not unlike the one the Master once had, once a few more fishes are dropped into their tank, with riddles and everything, it was meant to further showcase the commentaries on human nature, but was cut due to time constraints.
    • The movie was originally intended to be in 2D because the director believed they couldn't get the facial features right with 3D. However it would take too long to do in 2D and he realized that 3D animation could get the desired results.
