- Canon Immigrant: The Revenant was originally created by author Michael Stackpole for a superhero short story anthology. Word of God is that Mike and Aaron met at a game convention and got to talking about Aaron's then latest project and how he was having trouble coming up with a Batmanesque character, at which point Mike offered the use of the Revenant.
- Schedule Slip: Originally, the comic kept a consistent three-times-per-week update schedule online. However, starting in 2015, it stated updating much less frequently, dropping down to once per month and eventually falling to only a few times per year.
