• Outdated by Canon: Ended up as a Running Gag. Because the fic began before the show itself ended, some of the stuff mentioned in the fic ended up being contradicted by later episodes. However, instead of editing the fic to better fit in canon, Cornholio offered explanations for the differences:
  • After "Yesterday's Lie" aired, it was stated that Camila was taken from early in the first episode, unlike everyone else who were taken from after "Covention", to explain why she didn't think she drove Luz to camp.
  • Many chapters depict Boiling Isles residents as Good Witch Azura fans. After "Any Sport in a Storm" established Amity is the only person on the isles who ever read the books, Cornholio's Author Avatar states he made those residents fans just for a laugh.
  • Several of the tags made clear Cornholio believed Alador was just as much an abusive parent to Amity as her mother Odalia, and wrote things to reflect that. As Season 2 aired however, it became increasingly apparent that Alador's main issue was being ignorant of what Amity was suffering, not malicious, and that he truly wants to make amends with his daughter. Chapter 48 even has Cornholio question if Dana Terrace reads the fic and deliberately made things like that to get back at him, before declaring their intent to stick to the script and simply retcon Alador into being in the projector room the entire time, forbidden to talk with anyone.
  • One yet to receive an explanation is the tag "Boscha bashing", due to Corholio's dislike for The Bully and her initially being a Hate Sink, frequently making her into the Butt-Monkey of the fic. Season 3 would have Boscha pull a Heel–Face Turn and prove her friendship with Amity is genuine, even having her join the Hexsquad in their efforts to free the Boiling Isles from the influence of The Collector.
