- Referenced by...: The parody sticker brand Wacky Packages has parodied Otter Pops three times: in 2010 for Old School Series 1 as "Odor Pops", in the third weekly November 2020 set as "Odder Pops", and in the July 2022 set as "Squatter Pops".
- What Could Have Been: Scarlett O'Cherry was prepared to replace Sir Isaac Lime as a character and flavor in 1995. A petition and protest halted these efforts, which meant Sir Isaac Lime remained and Scarlett O'Cherry was regulated to the retired "Otter-Ade" drink spin-off.
