• Beam Me Up, Scotty!: When Lucas realises Peyton is the one for him in following the State Championship game, he says "When all my dreams come true the one I want next to me, it’s you. It’s you, Peyton" and never says “It’s always been you.” Despite this, both fans and cast alike (Including the two actors in the scene) have come to remember the later as being part of Lucas’ confession.
• Deleted Scene: Dan visits Whitey the night before the State Championship game, and knowing that Nathan throw the game, tries to put Whitey at ease over not winning a State Championship, culminating with the two of them agreeing to leave the past in the past.

• One-Take Wonder: Lucas and Peyton’s kiss following the Ravens’ State Championship win had to be shot in a single take due to the falling confetti in the scene.
