• Executive Meddling: In a positive example, author Eiichiro Oda had already planned out most of the arc when his editor asked him to add more new characters to it to spice things up. A mere three hours later, he'd come up with designs for nine new characters who, along with Luffy and Zoro, became the members of the Eleven Supernovas. All nine of them are quite popular with the fans to varying degrees, with one, Trafalgar Law, gaining such popularity that he's practically become a Breakout Character.
