Trivia / Ocean Machine: Biomech

• Black Sheep Hit: "Seventh Wave" and "Life" have pretty much been the only songs from the album that Devin performs regularly, though for most of the 2010's "Regulator" was the first song Devin played live after the intro.
• Troubled Production: From the get-go, Devin couldn't get the idea signed to any record label, and so he took a suggestion to just start his own label and release it himself. Naturally, everything started to go wrong immediately; the mixing was a torturous 3 week process, technical issues started popping up everywhere, the recording quality suffered, and editing was extremely limited due to much of it being recorded on 2'' tape. That said, Devin does have a great fondness for the album, calling it a "Labor of Love"
