Trivia / Object Lockdown

• Creator Backlash: The show's crew really doesn't like Drago, which lead to his Long Bus Trip.
• Development Hell:
  • Basically how to describe the production of Lockdown episode "The Cream of the Crop." This episode not only took around 7 months to make, but Wuggolo wanted to cancel the show several times during its development and even tried working on a spiritual successor that was not a competition show (she also broke a hand and a leg during the episode's production). However, "The Cream of the Crop" made it through despite the trouble. And so did five more episodes.
  • Lockout also had some serious trouble, but this time it is for the very first episode. "Glad to See You Could Make It" took 15 months to make, with the original release plan of the end of 2019. Reasons for the struggle include Wuggolo not feeling motivated to work on the episode in 2019 and a lot of her co-animators aren't very enthusiastic on working on it. It eventually came out on April of 2020, though.

• Publicity Stunt: Leading up to the release of Object Lockout, fans could predict the five females and four males that would make it to the final Lockout cast^note  Only three males and two females, alongside the single non-binary, were revealed at the time. The winner of the prediction game would receive a free tee at the OLD online store.
• Trolling Creator: Wuggolo always planned the Object Lockdown episode "Volcanic Excitement" to be released on October 14th, 2015, and staged a Schedule Slip where the episode was meant to be out on October 1st.
• What Could Have Been: The original idea for the spiritual successor to Super Object Battle and Flipnote Object Battle was called "Super Object Standstill" which was meant to have the same amount of comedy as Super Object Battle Two, but it was not a competition show. This was scrapped because Wuggolo didn't think of making a solely comedic show with no other aspect to be fun, and the idea ultimately became Object Lockdown.
  • The show was also going to simply be called "Lockdown," but that was changed shortly after the idea was thought up.
• Working Title: Had the titles of Super Object Standstill and Lockdown during the show's development.
