• Development Gag: Izzy, Trent, Gwen and Cody were all considered by the author as the character who would return to the game in the Aftermath before they ultimately went with Alejandro. This is reflected in that those said four are the only contestants besides the spoilered character to complete for said chance to return in the finished chapter.
• What Could Have Been: Before deciding on Alejandro as the Aftermath returnee, Izzy, Trent, Gwen and Cody were also contemplated. Izzy in particular was apparently a hard decision, before the author decided to bring back Alejandro for "story purposes". This can be seen in how all five characters competed for the chance to return in the "Aftermath Aftermayhem" chapter.
