Trivia / Ninjabread Man

  • Manual Misprint: The Wii version's manual states that you can throw bombs by moving the Wii Remote in a throwing motion while holding A. Thing is, you can never get bombs at any point in the game. Oddly enough, throwing bombs IS possible in the reskin Anubis II, but that game's manual erroneously tells you to hold the B button.
  • No Export for You: The PS2 and PC versions were not released outside Europe.
  • What Could Have Been: The game was originally planned as a reboot of/sequel to Zool, but the rights holders weren't satisfied with how the game looked. It's very likely that all the different "games" Data Design Interactive released were just different levels of that same Zool prototype: Ninjabread Man closely resembles Zool's Sweets World; Rock N Roll Adventures is a copy of Zool's Music World (right down to the giant remotes and stereo equipment); Myth Makers: Trixie in Toyland is very similar to Zool's Toy World; and Anubis II resembles the Egyptian level of Zool 2 (even using similar pyramid-shaped enemies).
