• What Could Have Been:
  • Deathwing's appearance was completely different from Tim Seeley's original plans. The story was going to tie into Dark Nights: Metal, with Deathwing being a nightmare version of Dick from the Dark Multiverse. That explains why Dick was having visions of his and Damian's alternate selves in the Multiverse.
  • Ric Grayson was originally never supposed to happen. Nightwing would have been shot and quickly healed by Zatanna. However, Dan DiDio stepped in and demanded that Dick get hit with amnesia.
