• Creator's Oddball: For David Yarovesky, who previously directed The Hive and the gruesome superhero horror film Brightburn; Nightbooks marks a much Lighter and Softer turn, similar to Eli Roth with The House With a Clock in Its Walls. It's also one of Yarovesky's few works that isn't a collaboration with James Gunn.
