• What Could Have Been: Amicus' Milton Subotsky optioned the book in the 70s. Later on, as recently revealed by his son at the BFI, he rewrote the script as Dr. Who's Greatest Adventure, intending to be a third Doctor Who film, relocated from Wales to Lossiemouth, Scotland, albeit with Jon Pertwee as the Doctor teaming up with a new incarnation of the Doctor.
