- Cross-Dressing Voices: Jane U'Brien as the title character Nate.
- Fake American: While the voice cast is Australian, they give the characters American accents. Pretty convincing too, you can hardly hear their accents.
- No Export for You: The second season has never aired in Australia, due to the Nine Network no longer participating in the production of the show. Despite this, the Australian voice cast still retains their roles from the first season.
- Production Posse: Most of the production staff for Sally Bollywood worked on this. Heck the voice of Sally herself, Sarah Aubrey, is the voice of Malika. Even Yoram Gross alumni Keith Scott is part of the show, too.
- Short Run in Peru: The series first premiered in Italy two months before it premiered in Australia and seven before it premiered in France. Along with this, RTS Un in Switzerland premiered the second season over two months before France, and the English version premiered on POP in January 2022.
- What Could Have Been: As seen in early promo pictures
Malika originally had a braid on back of her head and wore pants instead of a skirt. Her design was changed probably to make her look less Muslim.
