  • Schedule Slip:
    • Between 2012/11/30 and 2013/02/24.
    • 2013/04/08 to 2013/07/08.
    • Most significantly, 2013/08/25 to November 2014.
  • What Could Have Been: The Weaver gave some insights of his plans during the Q&A after the story was concluded:
    • The Padre was originally meant to be an "interdimensional janitor", and the hotel was less a moral/ethical prison and more a "tangled point of collapsing realities". He would stalk through the hotel and try to remove people in the wrong place and time, which he would see as "errors" in the spacetime continuum. He was also originally not meant to be evil, despite his antagonistic role.
    • Another idea involving the Padre was to reveal he looked like one of the main characters under his burlap sack. Weaver decided against it due to disliking this kind of cliche. He also considered a flashback where Nan would converse with an uncorrupted Father Velasco, but he preferred to keep him as The Faceless as much as possible.
    • Kim was meant to have a sub-arc which revealed she was heavily into the Occult, attempting to use it to keep the Uninvited at bay and leading Anderson to turn his back to her over it.
    • There were plans for Nan to explore Kim's memories if she ever died, where she would meet her at a planned parenthood-type clinic, clicking a pen nervously and staring at a stack of papers, with the implication that she was guilty over becoming teen pregnant and was considering an abortion.
    • The Anasazi Lounge was originally conceived as a modern library with winding shelves, rather than the half-lounge half-lighthouse of the final quest. The Pilgrim's attack was also conceived differently, with him going for Anderson first.
    • If Santiago was the one chosen to kill Lorenzo for whatever reason, his last words were planned to be: "Don't remember me."
