• What Could Have Been: The band was originally intending to follow up Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends with a more stripped down album, titled The Wedding Album, with a tentative release date for December 2009. At the same time, they were also writing what they were planning to follow up that project up with, using what would become the final name and being more electric in comparison. They eventually decided to combine both albums as they couldn't focus on both projects at the same time and felt some of the songs didn't gel well by limiting them to a specific style.
