- The Danza:
- If you go along with the provisional naming of "My" as Jean-Louis like some sources have done, then he's an example.
- Averted with Françoise Fabian, who plays Maud instead of Françoise. Ironic since Françoise is Maud's romantic archrival, having twice stolen men Maud loved.
- Dawson Casting: Slightly, with Jean-Louis Trintignant and Antoine Vitez (Vidal) both in their late thirties, playing men in their early thirties.
- Out of Order: Designated as the third of Rohmer's Six Moral Tales, but it was only the second that was theatrically released, and was made after La Collectionneuse, which was #4. My Night at Maud's was delayed because Rohmer wanted to film at Christmastime and he had to wait a year for Jean-Louis Trintignant to be available during the season.
- Working Title: La Fille à la bicyclette (''The Girl on the Bicycle").
