- Blooper:
- In the opening sequence, Patch calls up the rest of their friends for cookies at Bon Bon's house, and then Patch is one of the ponies seen running to said house.
- In "The Tea Party", Sweetheart injures Bon Bon. Then, Bon Bon says "I'm really, truly sorry, Bon Bon!" in Sweetheart's voice.
- Completely Different Title: Known as Vola, Mio Mini Pony ("Fly, My Little Pony") in Italy, to match its theme song.
- I Am Not Shazam: Despite it being the second cartoon series in the franchise, the "Generation 2" toys didn't come out for another few years afterwards. Yet people always refer to this series as "G2". note
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Want it on DVD? Until April 2015, you would have had to be prepared to spend money on importing the four volumes from Australia and a region-free DVD player. Rescued when the series got a DVD release in the US.
- The Other Darrin: Venus Terzo was the original voice of Patch. From "Up, Up and Away" onward, Brigitta Dau provided her voice.
