• Out of Order: It was scheduled to be the 15th episode of season 5, despite being 16th in the production order.
• Word of God: William Anderson, who normally just scores the background music, actually performed the muted trumpet using the noir scenes.
• What Could Have Been: M.A. Larson revealed in an interview with Equestria Daily that this episode was going to be called "The Rainbow Confession", which had the same basic premise but borrowed more from Legally Blonde, being a Courtroom Episode with Rarity in the Elle Woods role. This is why he is credited for this episode.
