• Acting for Two: With the exception of Scootaloo's spoken lines, the Crusaders' song is sung by one person, Michelle Creber (who provides Sweetie Belle's singing voice and both Apple Bloom's speaking and singing voices).
• Content Leak: The episode was somehow released on the internet a day prior to its release back in 2012.
• Fandom Nod: Derpy and Doctor Whooves are shown together during a general view of the town, as are Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon (though Bon Bon is also copy-pasted next to another pony in the very same shot).
• First Appearance: Of Button Mash, a colt playing in the arcade wearing a propeller hat. While unnamed in the script, his name was given to him by fans.
