• Executive Meddling: Writer Meghan McCarthy wanted to have Berryshine/Berry Punch belch after drinking from the punch bowl, to Lampshade her status as The Alcoholic. She couldn't get that one past the Moral Guardians.
• First Appearance: Of Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.
• What Could Have Been: The episode was a Poorly Disguised Pilot for a spin-off series featuring the Cutie Mark Crusaders. It never surfaced and instead the Crusaders more or less became the secondary protagonists after the Mane 6.
