• Short Run in Peru: The short "Shake your Tail!" was first released on April 16, 2014 by the official German Equestria Girls YouTube Channel. It was shortly after taken down along with any reposts, and officially released on June 6, 2014. Interestingly, it was released in English.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The "Music to My Ears" short was originally supposed to end with Principal Celestia listening to the headphones she confiscated from DJ Pon-3.
  • In the "A Case for the Bass" short, Granny Smith was supposed to have more screen time.
• Word of God: Sunset Shimmer's transformation into a phoenix in "My Past Is Not Today" is just a visual metaphor, not an actual power.
