- Author's Saving Throw: One of the moments most readers have been waiting for is when Shirou reveals his past to Yu, his adopted mother. However, it was done offscreen, to most of the readers' disappointment. Seeing this, the author decides to rewrite the scene.
- What Could Have Been: In chapter 19 - "Sword in the Forest'', the author's note reveals that the author had rewritten the chapter's scenario many times before deciding on one. The iterations that don't make the final draft, for example:
- Angra Mainyu doesn't use his new ability.
- Midoriya rushes off recklessly Out of Character.
- All-Might finds the Nomu and uses Gae Bolg for just a second.
