• Billing Displacement: Dan Aykroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis are given top billing, even though they've been Demoted to Extra this time around.
• California Doubling: Averted with the Los Angeles scenes, but the Pennsylvania scenes were filmed in California as well. In fact, this is a weird double example, since the first movie filmed the Pennsylvania scenes in Florida.
• The Character Died with Him: Gramoo's actress, Ann Nelson, died between the first and second movie, so her character is now dead as well.
• The Other Darrin: Judy was played by Cassi Abel in the first movie, but Lauren Ashley takes over the role for the sequel.
