• Working Title: The series was initially called Greatest Demon Ray, Magical Girl Sunshine, before the editor suggested the simpler (and so far unique) title, My Celestial Family. In keeping with Love is in the Bag being part of The Kate Project and Angel Crush being part of The Faye Project, this series is known in the studio either as The Ray Project or The Shine Project in keeping with the gender flipping nature of the main character.
