• California Doubling: The show is set in Charlotte, North Carolina, but was filmed at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Rescued as of 2014. At least three episodes aired on The 90s Are All That early that year. Later, the entire run was released as an Amazon VOD title in June.
• Science Marches On: When the boys' secret pet snake goes missing, Goo tells Dee Dee to stop calling for him because snakes can't hear. This was considered true at the time for essentially the same reason Goo gives ("Did you ever see a snake with ears?!"). It's since been discovered that snakes have an inner ear connected to their jawbone — yep, snakes hear with their mouth.
• What Could Have Been: According to Ralph Woolfolk IV, Dee Dee's actor, a second season of My Brother and Me was in the works. However, Creative Differences between the creators and the producers of the show led to a huge fallout that ultimately caused My Brother and Me to be cancelled.
