- Dawson Casting: Fidelma, 18, and Trish, 16, are played by Claire Monnelly (b.1986) and Aoife Duffin (b. 1984), but they convince in the roles. Everyone else is cast age-appropriate. Also, the flashbacks with young Liam feature Peter McDonald (b. 1972) and Deirdre O'Kane (b. 1970) playing 17, for Rule of Funny.
- Real Song Theme Tune: "Where's Me Jumper?" by the Sultans of Ping FC. Fairly apt, considering the lead singer is synonymous with Cloud Cuckoo Lander in Ireland.
