Trivia / Moomin (1990)

• Acting for Two:
  • In the original Finnish dub, Matti Ruohola voiced Moominpappa, Stinky and the postman (expect for two episodes with the last one), Timo Torikka voiced Snufkin, the Hobgoblin and several minor characters like the Muffle, Tapio Hämäläinen voiced Mr. Hemulen, the Police Inspector (except for one episode) and the Groke, and Eero Ahre voiced Sniff and several minor characters, like Mr. Brisk.
  • In the three episodes where Moominpappa tells about his youth, his younger self, Muddler and Joxter are respectively voiced by the same actors as Moomintroll, Sniff and Snufkin in many of the dubs.
• Banned Episode:
  • Three episodes were famously banned in Finland being too scary/intense for children; "The Pirate", "The Imp" and "The Birthday Surprise" from Bouken Nikki.
  • "The Big Explosion" was banned in Sweden, thus any mentions of this episode were removed as well.
