- Real-Life Relative: Jennifer Finnigan (Dr. Tina Ridgeway) is married to Jonathan Silverman (Dr. John Lieberman).
- Screwed by the Network: Opinions vary whether the marketing and promotion was good enough. Ratings were lower than expected, and the network opted not to renew it. However, few series gain a big audience or devoted following right from the scratch. Lots of Medical Drama geeks were intrigued and lots of people watched the show for the stellar cast or David E. Kelley's reputation. It's sad that this was not enough to merit a new season.
