Trivia / Minority Report (2015)

Go To

  • Actor Allusion: Despite being Canadian, Christopher Heyerdahl uses a similar accent for Dr. Lionel Gray to the one he uses for the Norwegian Thor Gunderson on Hell on Wheels.
  • Actor-Shared Background: Like Dash, Stark Sands has a twin brother and an older sister.
  • Billing Displacement: Stark Sands originally had top billing but this was switched around after the pilot so that Meagan Good's name comes first in the credits.
  • The Cast Showoff: Stark Sands has appeared in the original Broadway casts of American Idiot and Kinky Boots so it's not surprising that his character Dash sings "Sexual Healing" in one episode.
  • The Other Darrin: recasting the precogs entirely, replacing Samantha Morton with Laura Regan as Agatha and Matthew and Michael Dickman with Stark Sands and Nick Zano as Dash and Arthur. Averted with Wally, with Daniel London reprising his role.
  • The Other Marty: Stark Sands originally played both twins but then it was decided that the twins should be fraternal rather than identical. As a result, Nick Zano was cast as Arthur and the necessary scenes were reshot.
  • Screwed by the Network: Despite headlining the Fall 2015 season with Gotham on FOX's Monday night slot, it got placed opposite The Voice on NBC, which had higher ratings than both shows. FOX would eventually cut the show's episode order from thirteen episodes to ten, and while Gotham continued to hold steady in terms of viewership, Minority Report kept losing viewers and promotion, leading to FOX having no confidence in the latter and cancelling it after one season.
  • What Could Have Been: Stark Sands originally played both twins but this was changed after the original pilot was shot, necessitating reshoots.
