  • Colbert Bump: The band received a bump of exposure through a very early viral internet video, from the year 2000, that edited footage of Pokémon: The First Movie over the song "Bitches," making it look like Pikachu is singing the song.
  • Creator Backlash: Jimmy has described his first solo EP as "him doing a bad Nine Inch Nails impression".
  • Creator Couples:
    • Jimmy Urine and ex-Morningwood leader Chantal Claret, who's featured on albums since 2008 as back vocals.
    • Lyn-Z and Gerard Way.
  • The Danza: Everyone but Kittynote :
    • Jimmy Urine's real name is James Euringer.
    • Steve, Righ?'s real name is Steven Montano.
    • Lyn-Z is Lindsey Ann Way, née Ballato.
  • Doing It for the Art: Jimmy has described the band as "[always having been] an art project me and my friends make." When no major record label would sign them, the band started their own so they could put their music out without having to change it to be commercially accessable.
  • DVD Commentary: Or album commentary, in this case. On Tight's twelfth anniversary, the remastered version Tighter was published and included a 45 minute podcast-esque commentary by Jimmy, Steve and Kitty reflecting back on their first album and the good ol' days.
  • Dye Hard: Jimmy, and back in the day, Steve too. Pink, green, yellow, red, blue, glowing under blacklight, they've had it all.
  • He Also Did:
    • Jimmy did industrial as a soloist before the band formed. He also did OST duties on Lollipop Chainsaw and The Metronomicon. Plus, he's a voice actor—notable roles include Zed from Lollipop Chainsaw and The Body from Heart String Marionette.
    • You may know Steve, or Jimmy for their work with My Chemical Romance, as Dr. Death Defying and/or Agent Cherri Cola respectively.
    • Jimmy and Steve, have done two albums as The Left Rights, assuming the personas of Depraved Kids Show Hosts.
    • Lyn-Z was in a Dolly Parton tribute band, aptly titled Beg Yer Parton. She also paints under her real name.
  • What Could Have Been
    • "Pussy All Night" started as a remix of "Molly" that he eventually turned into its own song. Jimmy seems to prefer "Pussy All Night," and it was a concert closer for years.
    • "Bite Your Rhymes" started as a cover of "Ice Ice Baby" but Jimmy abandoned it.
